SHERMAN BECK - Painter
Sherman Beck is a Chicago born artist who attended U of Illinois Chicago, School of the Art Institute and taught Art at Dunbar High School.
He worked as a graphic designer for Ebony Magazine and was one of the original members of AFRICOBRA A Black arts collective.
He works in oil on canvas with technical mastery and aesthetic clarity.
